A mix of cafes and independent shops and old buildings surrounding the canal. Hire canoes or bikes from Paddles and saddles and explore the canal down to the very chilled and relaxed pubs the double locks and the Turf locks further on.

Great place to visit. Either walk, hire a bicycle, canoe, or take a boat trip down the river to have lunch at one of the two pubs at the lochs. Highly recommended on a lovely sunny day.
