A classic brown wall bar! Located right beside the Oude Kerk (its nickname is "Oude Jan") you can enjoy the cozy inside or its great beer garden. Are you looking for the best gin? Then try "Holy Spirit", served with Fever Tree tonic, desiccated blood orange, and a "kruidnagel", ie. a clove. So refreshing, so good! And don't be afraid to through the peanuts on the floor. Apparently it polishes the floorboards!

Next to the café is a restaurant: Naast de Joffer. Cajun kitchen. Our favorite restaurant. Spicy!
