Arena Carioca 2 - With 10 thousand seats, the arena will receive athletes from judo, wrestling and Paralympic boccia. After the Games, the temporary stands will be removed and a changing room will be built, as well as a room for coaches and a sporting material shop. Arena Carioca 1 - The arena with over 38 thousand m² and capacity for 16 thousand spectators was built to host the basketball games at the Olympic Games and the wheelchair rugby and basketball at the Paralympics. After the Games, the structure will be used by high performance athlete for training in 12 sports, offering them changing rooms and a gym, as well as having an area for events with 7.5 thousand permanent seats.
