Playa Tamarindo is a lovely and secluded beach in the southwest of the island, about a 3 hour drive from the rental house. Wear comfortable shoes as it is a short hike from the parking area to the beach itself. Brings plenty of water, snacks, and sunscreen as you will want to spend all day here relaxing to sounds of the ocean.

One of the most beautiful and isolated beaches on the island. Well worth the journey to soak in the waves! Morning is best. There is a decent place to lunch just down the road--Copa Marina.
