36 minutes to trailhead from the lodge. The fifth largest tree in the world and one of the oldest living Giant Sequoias at over 3,000 years old. 1 mile (15 min) hike.

Enjoy a short hike to the fifth largest tree in the world, the Stagg Tree. It’s the largest tree by volume outside of the Sequoia National Park and you will get to visit this quiet part of the forest without any tourist masses. Lots of scenic views to see on this short and easy hike. Great for children too.
