Elk Falls, Dramatic, impressive waterfall from a sheer volume standpoint. The plunge pool is extremely large and certain to be busy in the summer months. A Beach area popular for wading in natural pools.

Elk River Falls Trail is a 0.3 mile heavily trafficked out and back trail located near Elk Park, North Carolina that features a waterfall and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is best used from April until October. Dogs are also able to use this trail.
