The best place to grab a cup of coffee, cold beer, or glass of wine. It's directly across from Gastropub, so a good place to hang out if there's a dinner wait. They also have some awesome tasty treats.

"WELCOME TO THE GREAT NORTHERN COFFEE BAR. We are dedicated to providing big dreams in a small town, tight knit community. We’ve created a home to share our passion for people, for food, for coffee and beer. We saw a need and we filled it. This community, our customers were hungry for change, for growth. We gave them exactly that; an experience of who we are, who this town is and where we came from. We’re renewing a sense of pride in the local community, showcasing how we got here and what created the success in our small town. We are fighting to be a front runner in this community-pride movement. We’re not reinventing it, but re-enforcing it. Re-establishing the need for relationships, creating excitement for the knowledge of our history and the foundation of the American experience. We set out to create an atmosphere, a business model like nothing else around; local coffee roasters, in-house baked goods. Developing menu items made with local ingredients, craft beer and local wine. We have enlisted the help of several local businesses to supply us with our inventory and daily operations. We were able to grow our Northern family and create jobs. Our plans are bold and include internships to learn our craft, expanding our retail, marketing and social media reach, to widen our menus and hire much more. We are not interested in just employees but to grow aspiring leaders. We are going to be a front runner for many successful careers. There is always something in the works at The Great Northern, where we can work together to maintain sustainable businesses. Our mission is to create an atmosphere for interaction, for socialization. Building a community coffee bar where we can share a coffee in the morning with a neighbor and return in the evening for a glass of wine, always feeling at home. The Great Northern is the setting for people to spend quality time with an old friend they fell out of touch with. It’s a place to spark a new friendship, a new relationship. A warm place that creates the family dinner atmosphere. We are unraveling the disconnect from social media, people are starting to notice they are missing the old fashion interaction. We are providing the platform for acquiring more community and personal involvement. We’re excited for our future plans to create more jobs, to give back locally, to expand and have the power to thrive big in our small town. And we personally invite you to share our passion for people, for food, for coffee and beer. Our craft is your experience. "
