An intergovernmental organization and international tribunal that sits in The Hague in the Netherlands. The ICC has the jurisdiction to prosecute individuals for the international crimes of genocide, crimes against humanity, and war crimes. The building itself is stunning. Ongoing trials can be watched from the public gallery.

Take a tour at the International Criminal Court (you need to book ahead). This is the only permanent court of its kind, trying persons responsible for the worst crimes known to humanity - war crimes, crimes against humanity and genocide. I used to work there and can answer any questions you might have.
