Take the Sandbanks Ferry either on foot or by car and visit the beaches at Shell Bay and Studland. Absolutely beautiful 😎

Funny thing to add to a place of interest I know but what this ferry does is unlock an adventure to the Jurassic Coast. When you take this 3 minute crossing you’ll be in another world where the pace of life is really chilled and the views snd beaches are amazing. So much to see and do there in what is known as the Isle of Purbec with stunning views of Poole Harbour and surrounding area. Defiantly worth checking out if you like walking, beaches, nature and the very traditional seaside resort of Swanage is always worth a visit!

This ferry crosses the mouth of Poole Harbour. It takes you from Super-rich Sandbanks to Un-spoilt Studland. ( Studland & surrounding areas are controlled by the National Trust.)

This is great. Its a 12min drive or 21min bike ride which we would recommend as you can ride along the beach if you have a bike or get a hire bike or scooter. The ferry goes back and forth from Sandbanks to Studland beach. It is stunning. There are beaches and walks on the harbour side and the seaside. Shell bay restaurant, Knoll beach, Studland naturist beach, Studland heath nature reserve. Look out for Knoll beach cafe and middle beach cafe for refreshment stops. Further along is The Pig - on the beach which has a top restaurant or a cheaper outdoor pizza and flat bread hut. Next to this is the Banks Arms - beer and food indoors or out. If in the car you can carry on to Swanage or Corfe castle.
