Broadbands beach offers absolutely everything - water sports, beach huts, hot drinks and food right next to a stunning sand beach, surrounded by cliffs... continue walking to the right and you find yourself on one of the most beautiful places in Torbay. From stunning vies of the sea, the whole bay (Torquay, Paignton, Brixham) and cliffs, to historical building tacked away close to the woods, only 10 minutes walk from the Broadbands car park. Incredible place.

This is great to walk the dog up and over the headland and pick up the coastal path to Brixham.

A brilliant beach, our favourite with children in tow, is Broadsands. Just 6.9 miles drive away, it’s quite sandy, there are rock pools to explore, paddle board and kayak hire, and a cafe with lovely ice cream. A lovely big field for frisbee or ball games. The Dartmouth steam train route runs through this area, so you may be treated to plumes and the bold, cheery whistle as the carriages pass! There is a super, short walk over the headland from which to enjoy fantastic views. The walk takes you to Elberry Cove, which is only accessible by foot. It’s where Agatha Christie used to swim most days! This is a fab day when the sun shines… Easy drive, takes around 20 mins - lovely big car park

Lovely family beach, cafes , water sports, large car park. Walk across the golf course to Elberry Cove, a much quieter spot perfect for an evening swim

A beautiful sandy beach approx 10 minute car drive away with 2 cafes located around the beach and surrounded by beach huts (in the summer). Dog friendly out of season only (October - April)
