The South Slough National Estuarine Research Reserve (South Slough Reserve) is a 5,900-acre natural area located in the Coos estuary on the south coast of Oregon.
South Slough Estuary has some great hiking trails that start in the woods and lead to the Slough. It's just 4 miles up the road on seven devils road. Their is another section further up on seven devils on a sharp curve Hinch Road. There are more hiking trails here and this land once was a family farm that belonged to the Frederickson's.
