This is the real Tucson in food form. I can not recommend this place more highly. This steak house is over 100 years old, provides exceptional service, yet remains no-frills. Prices are very reasonable, and your steak will be cooked impeccably on their open pit mesquite grill. $$

Great steaks and baby back ribs grilled over mesquite. Tamale pie is a must. Lots of history here and is also haunted.

This is a uniquely Tucson place, where they make your guacamole and salads at table side. No reservations. Great steaks. This place has character.
