Nice 1 hour hike with waterfalls and great views

When talking to locals, virtually everyone has been to Bear Creek Provincial Park and Knox Mountain Regional Park. At this time of year, the waterfall at Bear Creek is bursting through the canyon, providing a phenomenal family photo taking opportunity. The hike has a couple set of stairs as well as spots with a bit of grade, so it's not ideal for strollers. After your hike, take the kids over to the beach at Bear Creek Park for a swim. Plan for a 60 minute round-trip hike.

Head towards Kelowna on Westside road for about 20 minutes and you will find Bear Creek. Theres a few hiking options but all are very manageable with some nice views and areas to play and explore.

Wonderful scenery, elevation hike up the mountain with a waterfall at the upper end. Great 'circle hike' up the mountain and back down again. I'd recommend a minimum level of fitness because of the elevation gain.

Approx 20 minute drive, great place to have a picnic, fun for kids.
