Row upon row of narrow boats are moored up next to each other at this exciting boating community. It’s like terraced housing for boats, with little gardens on top of and next to them. Everyone knows each other, and everyone’s cats explore each other’s boats. Lovely pubs and cafes line the canal here. For a floating experience, have tea and cake at the Waterside Cafe boat, where the carrot cake is deelish. The Prince Alfred pub does a great Sunday roast: perfect Yorkshire pudding, rare beef, loads of gravy.

Great place for a beautiful walk, the canal has lots of barges, places to eat and drink. You can also join a boat trip to Camden Market. Some pretty gardens back onto the canal. Not far from Paddington station

Little Venice is a London Oasis of tranquility. It's thought to have been so-named by the poet, Robert Browning. Dozens of narrowboats, day trip boats and water cafés line this calm stretch where the Grand Union Canal meets the Regent's Canal. The famous Little Venice mansions provide a stunning backdrop. And the triangular pool, complete with willow tree, is home to several floating businesses such as the Waterside Cafe, London Waterbus, and floating art gallery.

Cafe village style, Gastro pubs, boutique shops and chic Garden centre with cafe. Lots of beautiful houses and green trees line the large avenues which makes it a lovely place to walk around
