Memorial square for the great Spartan Leonidas. Leonidas tomb. Historically, supposed to be a honorary monument, while many researchers believe that was Apollo Carneus Temple. There is no correlation of the temple with Leonidas, but the local tradition along with the Greek traveler Pausanias, consider that is the place where Leonidas bones were transfered.
