This is a special place to visit both during the day and at night for spotlighting wildlife. We’ve seen cassowary on this track and an array of nocturnal possums and reptiles. It’s a lovely easy bush walk that winds down to a crater. There are several small waterfalls along the way (Dinner Falls) and plenty of places for a picnic.

A gentle walk through lush rainforest and swim in crystal clear waterfalls.

Extinct volcanic crater within wet tropical rain forest National Park. Easy walking in verdant surrounds. "Just round the corner" - 10 minute drive.

A moderately challenging and extremely rewarding hike up to Lamb's Head. The trailhead is at the end of Davies Creek Road, about a 45-minute drive from home. This is approximately a 6-hour return hike, so bring plenty of water and snacks. Also, there can be leeches along the way, so bring a little salt shaker!
