Serving as a memorial to the thousands of men and women who served in the US Navy Seabees during WWII, the mission of the museum is to preserve the historical "Original Home of the Seabees' and the story of this significant period in Rhode Island history. It’s important to note that the museum was built by Seabees, and is run by Seabees, for Seabees and their families, as well as for the public.
