In July each year Holt, briefly and dazzlingly, is home to musicians, poets, actors, dancers, artists and comedians. There are venues all over town including performances at the church, the Auden Theatre, in the bookshop, Holt Community Centre, hotels and in the magnificent open-air Theatre in the Woods. If you are looking for a quiet time in the countryside, this is not it. If you’re looking for cultural nourishment, some belly laughs, and the pleasure of seeing some top-flight internationally recognised performers, your in the right place.
