Good place for bike riding. Start at Rockefeller park (follow the citibike bike map bike lanes) and go down to battery park.

Great place for a picnic. Walk, Run or bike from tip of manhattan all the way up the west side on the Hudson River Park.

A true gem, soak in the views of the Hudson River or grab some food at the North Cove marina this park is truly a must visit.

This is the highlight of the downtown parks. It is the reason people forego living near Central Park uptown. Tons of the greenspace, set on the river, with so many activities to choose from. Bring a picnic blanket. Bike along the path. Check out free toys or activities for the kids. Play basketball, outdoor pool, chess, handball, or take the kids to the spacious playground and swing area. There are duck ponds, the Marina, with public restrooms and so much fresh air.
