It's worth the 10 min walk - the best pub near the flat. Classic build, craft ales and very good (if a little pricy) food. Usually full of cheery crowds of locals in the evening. Real fire in winter.

This drinking haunt - complete with roaring open fire and a well-used piano - has the feel of a really smart, but comfy country pub, which makes it a nice spot for a relaxed drink. The bar seems to be overflowing with beer, spirits, cocktails and wine options, which are popular with the Roebuck’s wide-ranging clientele. While the rooms are cosy are welcoming, the garden space hosts barbeque’s over the summer, making this a nice stopping-off point all year round.
