This could be a day trip on its own. There's so much to do! You can fish, rent paddleboats, feed the ducks (watch out for the geese), play on the playground, walk the park for extra steps, and picnic. There is no public swimming allowed and Duke Energy is unsightly across the lake, but this is a fun stop if you're in the area and want to get some wiggles out. White Duck Taco South is just down the street.
