If you want to canoe or enjoy the park and peace and quiet, Bass Lake is our nearest lake and has beach areas within the park.

It overs a shallow lake, pretty beach, place to rent a boat/canoe. It also has hiking and biking trails.

Bass Lake Provincial Park was previously a farm for over 100 years. Transformed into a recreational area just outside of the city of Orillia, it is now a hotspot for boating, stand-up paddle boarding fishing, hiking, and swimming because of its accommodating trails and waters. This provincial park is for those who still want the luxuries of restaurants, shopping, convenience stores, and even movie theatres just a 5-minute drive away to accompany their outdoor adventures.. Just a 15 minute drive from our airbnb.
