If you continue walking down Calle de Morelos, you will arrive at Plaza tapatia. It is characterized by having in the central part of its esplanade a huge fountain with the monument "the Immolation of Quetzalcoatl", a sculpture made of 5 bronze pieces and carved by hand that represents the sacrifice of Quetzalcóatl rising from the earth towards infinity to light the sun and give us new light. In front of the monument is the Jeweler Center. There begins the Walk to the Hospicio Cabañas. The Jalisco State Secretary for Tourism is located on this plaza
