Make the trip to Armagh Planetarium which offers visitors a unique experience which is quite simply “out of this world”. In the Planetarium’s amazing Digital Theatre you can relax and experience our planet and beyond; take a tour of the night sky, or even discover some of the myths behind the star constellations. Each show is a memorable experience and one that you will treasure. Armagh Planetarium is open Monday-Saturday from 10:00 - 17:00.

The Armagh Observatory is a modern astronomical research institute with a rich heritage. Founded in 1789 by Archbishop Richard Robinson, the Observatory is one of the UK and Ireland's leading scientific research establishments. Around 25 astronomers are actively studying Stellar Astrophysics, the Sun, Solar System astronomy, and the Earth's climate. There are daily shows at the planetarium for all ages but tickets must be pre-booked. Please see the website for further details.
