The second largest lake in the state, Lake Washington is another one of our favorite places to walk, picnic, dine at the restaurants on Leschi or just take in the view. The drive is 10 minutes west from our Airbnb location.

Go east, and you will find the lake. Park in one of the public lots along the lake. Find the walking path that traces the shore and go south along the lake. Lake Washington Blvd is closed to motorized vehicles, Friday 7pm - Monday 7am, May - September. Starting at Genesee Park and ending at Seward Park. Pedestrians and bikes only. It's lovely.
