Salisbury's Historical Pemberton Park has something for everyone! This beautiful 262 acres is a conservation area and has a house museum dating back to 1741. The park hosts music and art festivals, the autumn wine festival, the good beer festival, hiking trails, and much much more. Check out their site for details on events.
Just a few miles down Pemberton Drive is the restored plantation. There are miles of marked trails to walk. Views of the Wicomico river.
Historical and natural. Penetration offers nice short hikes and views of the river as well as a historic house and picnic area
A short drive away, Pemberton is home to a historic 1800's farm house, with lots of wonderful trails and fishing, its a great break from the city!
