This is a great free beach with quite a bit of free parking. This is my go-to spot when Destin is crowded. Most of this strip of land is controlled by Eglin Air Force Base, but you can access from John Beasley Park and walk the entire length.
The beach!!! no need the drive this is the same beach out front. The white sand that the panhandle of Florida is known for, and for a good reason.
Beautiful park, less crowded than the Boardwalk. Next to the Air Force, beach, where there is no one, and you can walk!
Beachside park with public restrooms, and 2 large pavilions. Artificial reef is located east of the pavilion and close to shore, great for snorkeling. (1.8 miles)
