Gorgeous views of the city and a chance to take in some history! Even if you don't ride the incline, stop and check out the small museum dedicated to preserving the Pittsburgh staple. Take cash! Makes it easier to get on/off.

The historic Mon Incline was built in 1870 and provide Pittsburgh miners a mode of transportation. Today it serves as part of the Port Authority public transit. Tickets are $5 roundtrip and (pro tip), bring the exact amount as change is not given!

A fifteen-minute walk from the Meridan Inn as you walk along Grandview Ave with breathtaking views, this incline goes straight down to Station Square where a variety of restaurants are located. There is also a trolley station going into downtown and to the North Shore.
