he Christ Cathedral, formerly the Crystal Cathedral, is a church building of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Orange in California. The reflective glass building designed by postmodern American architect Philip Johnson and located in Garden Grove, Orange County, seats 2,736 people. The church was touted as "the largest glass building in the world" when it was completed in 1981. The building has one of the largest musical instruments in the world, the Hazel Wright Memorial organ.

Even if your not religious it's a lovely place to visit. Surrounding the Cathedral are life sized sculptures of religious themes and the whole site is quite tranquil. When you enter the Cathedral it's so bright inside, the ceiling is all constructed of glass and you can see the sky from inside. Give yourself about 1 hour to wonder around as there are lots of photo opportunities.
