Just 7 min away this waterfall is one of my favorite stops when traveling through the mountains. You can dive in if you want.
If you’re not able to visit El Yunque, make your way to the center of the island. This resin forest is called Torro Negro and it is perhaps even more beautiful than El Yunque. Worth the 2 hour drive from Fajardo.

Due to its convenient location along the main road, Doña Juana is very popular with locals. While you'll find that most people stop by to simply capture that picture-perfect shot, it is possible to swim in the natural pool that forms at the bottom.
