Sage Cottage is located in the beautiful Pottawatomie County in our own Oaklore Forest. The cottage sleeps two on our queen size bed, Has a mini-kitchen and 3-piece bathroom with stand-up shower. The kitchen is equipped with a small bar sink, double hot plate, toaster, microwave, coffee pot, kuerig, toaster oven, small fridge and cooking essentials. Situated across the lane from our 100 year old farm house just outside of Yoder, KS. You will find yourself in the heart of Amish community. If you enjoy farm animals, this is the place for you.... horses, cows, turkeys, chickens, guinea pigs, rabbits and plenty of farm cats and our faithful dog, Ginger can all be found. Heartland Ranch is a short distance south of Topeka, We offer a unique quiet/private country stay. The lodging is a cowboy bunkhouse with "down-home comfort" casual country setting. We invite anyone who is "cowboy curious". This is not a "Disney" experience... frankly the farm "stay" isn't for everyone! Occupancy limited to online reservation. Be sure to review Kansas Laws for alcohol age use or illegal drugs list. No firearms are allowed on the Heartland Ranch property.

Adorable 2 bedroom one bathroom cabin with a fireplace, large deck with hot tub, pretty view, good water frontage, nice flat yard and private dock to park your boat with a ladder for swimming. The cabin backs to pretty woods which provide peace and quiet, privacy as well as abundant wildlife. The lake is just 100 yards down a nice trail through the woods. A 3 person kayak is available for your use, as well as a fire ring and lawn chairs.
