Beudy’r Esgob

‘Beudy’r Esgob’ translates as ‘Bishop’s Barn’ and it used to be a hay barn and cow shed. It adjoins our 14th century farmhouse and lies in the village of Gwalchmai, Anglesey. We are within walking distance to Anglesey Show ground & air strip and 10 minutes drive from Rhosneigr and its beaches. We would be a super base for those visiting Anglesey Circuit at Tŷ Croes as we have plenty of parking space for car trailers. A perfect base all year round for peaceful walking holidays, climbing trips or mountain biking in breathtaking scenery.

This turf covered cabin is a blend of Viking longhouse and underground hobbit hideaway. It's in a beautiful spot in our orchard between the mountains and the sea on our small permaculture farm. Experience camping fire cooking, and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a kitchen, hot water, shower compost toilet and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.

We love to welcome all guests to our converted dairy Tylluan Wen (Barn Owl) which is a stone building attached to the main house. The cottage can sleep up to 4 persons in one double and one twin room. We are a growing smallholding with alpacas, sheep and chickens. We also have two dogs. Tylluan Wen is located close to an area of outstanding natural beauty, with stunning scenery and easy access to the coast, attractions and transport routes. * Hot tub has extra charge.

A beautiful Mongolian Yurt set in its own private wooded space. The Bathroom is housed in a wooden cabin just a few feet from the door and is exclusively for use of guests. Views take in the breathtaking coastline, with Snowdonia in the distance and farm land in the foreground. The yurt is equipped with a mini hob and oven, fridge, toaster and kettle. A continental breakfast is provided. There is a wood burning stove to keep you cosy at any time of year.
