Acadia National Park ocean front & garden cottages

Both our houses are designed in the contemporary style. We used custom made decor and cherry tree furniture. A lot of windows, glass doors, bright and open space are inside the house. It is very quiet outside. You most likely will be alone at the beach. We share the whole sea cove with only one neighboring house. It is a pure paradise if you want to live on the beach on your own and within minutes of driving to the main local attractions. You'll be amazed of our botanical garden and landscape.

Nestled just steps from the Acadia Gateway Center, our recently updated cottage offers a peaceful retreat just a few minutes off Mount Desert Island. Fire up the grill, indulge in fresh lobster feasts, and create unforgettable moments with loved ones. With easy access to Island Explorer shuttles and nearby trails, exploring Acadia National Park is a breeze. Pack your bikes, hiking boots, and appetite, and let Maine's wonders unfold before you! Two pets allowed for an additional fee. No cats.

Enjoy your family vacation at the Home Away From Home!, centrally located on a 1.5 acre plot on a private street. 5 min. walk to the Atlantic brewery, Town Hill market or Burr Harbor. Most ANP trails, carriage roads and lakes are about 10mins drive from the house. This newly refinished house is very spacious, with a large picnic area in the backyard and a nice deck to relax in the evenings. Open concept living space allows for increased family interactions.

Lavender by the Sea

The Cottage rests over the end of Penobscot River as it opens into the Bay. The Cottage will comfortably accommodate two. The Cottage has a spacious bedroom, full kitchen, dining area, den and an all season porch with rockers. From Cottage there are views of the water and the lavender gardens. The gardens are terraced with a path down to the sea. The Carriage House Suite is available for an additional fee. it has has two bedrooms, a full bath and a sitting area. It can easily sleep four.

The Maine Getaway - Lakefront with Beach

If you are looking for a place to get away and relax, our house on Molasses Pond may be a good fit for you/your family. It is a hidden gem down a dirt road away from hustle and bustle. Peace and quiet is what you’ll find, along with a gorgeous view. It’s a great place for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, grilling, fishing, and laying on the hammock. We try to provide you with all the necessities you may need and are happy to answer any questions. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do!

Moss Mountain Cottage - 2025 updated kitchen

Moss Mountain Cottage sits on five wooded acres where you can relax after a long day of hiking, biking, or sightseeing. We are centrally located - a short drive from Acadia National Park, the villages of Mount Desert Island, Indian Point Blagden Preserve, Kebo Valley golf course, Long Pond, Echo Lake, Pirate's Cove mini-golf, as well as several restaurants featuring fresh seafood and locally brewed beer and wine. We provide a binder with brochures to help you plan out your days on MDI.

The house is located in Ellsworth Maine and although shops, restaurants, local lakes, Acadia National Park and area attractions are only a quick drive away, the home feels soothing, very safe, secluded and welcoming to all.

This cozy, quiet cabin is the perfect retreat. Enjoy a spacious kitchen with all the amenities. Bike or drive to Carrying Place Beach and the local lobster shack. Soak in the outdoor hot tub. Jack is also a licensed boat Captain through the U.S. Coast Guard and offers a discounted sail charter to our guests aboard our 36 ft. Catalina, Luna. Or hop on our lobster boat to watch the sunrise over Acadia!
