Deer Crossing Cabin was exactly what we needed! The location was peaceful and secluded—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Even though it rained during our stay, it didn’t take away from the calm and comfort we were looking forward to. The cabin was just as pictured online—clean, cozy, and beautifully maintained. The hosts truly thought of everything, with clear instructions and helpful directions for appliances and other amenities. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and highly recommend it!

What a beautiful place to stay! The wrap around porch is delightful, but there wasn’t enough time to sit in all the rocking chairs or hang out by the fire pit. You could pick a different spot every day. A little deer greeted us upon arrival. Unloading the car is a breeze, just a few steps and you are inside. Everything is so comfortable. Lots of cozy blankets. The kitchen space is perfect. We didn’t cook, but you certainly could with everything provided. We only used the bedroom on the main floor - great sleep! The downstairs room seems nice and cozy. If you brought more people, there is room to spread out. If you are looking for a quiet place to take a break - this is it!

The cabin was fabulous, it really met my families needs. The view exceeded our expectations and it was very well stocked kitchen and cabin, with lots of little extras. The cabin was centrally located for many of the activites we wanted to do in the area. Our family really appreciated our pets being welcomed like members of the family, they already had a feeding and watering station set up for them and treats avaliable. The cabin was overall very cozy and relaxing for our family and gave us the opportunity to take adavantage of the different amenities at the same time.

The cabin is lovely and cozy. There were plenty of amenities and thoughtful touches. The downstairs living space is awesome, esp with kids.

This was a great location for our family. It’s very close to downtown town Blue Ridge, Mercier orchards, and it is a great access point to get to other towns easily (like McCaysville and Blairsville). The cabin is located in a neighborhood so it’s not secluded but we knew that, and we rarely saw neighbors. The backyard was beautiful and peaceful, with neighbor horses down the hill that were lovely to watch.

As a flatlander Floridian, I appreciated that there were no steep climbs or nauseating curvy roads to access the cabin. We were unexpectedly delayed in our travels and arrived after midnight and still found the location easily. As per the information provided, it is very dark with little to no street lights but it was totally doable with little stress. As a bonus, there was a family of 8 deer in the yard to welcome us when we arrived!!
