SD Zoo Safari Park, wineries, breweries, & ocean beaches all within easy reach.

Cranberry Cabin

Enjoy the lovely setting of this romantic cozy cabin on the top of the mountain. A basecamp ready for your Palomar adventures. This is a tiny home, 19' x 11' (the bedroom is 11x11ft). Max sleeping capacity: 2 adults and one child under age 5. No AC. Valley views are from guest accessible property, not directly from the cabin porch. Max 2 dogs stay free - disclose bringing them. $100 cat cleaning fee on top of our $50 cleaning fee, and we will charge $200 if you fail to disclose your cat(s).

The Wood Pile Inn getaway

Kick back and relax in this calm, stylish space. This historic cabin built in 1920 was recently refurbished to its old charm with some modern upgrades for your comfort. The original owner of the Cabin was an author named Catherine Woods. She wrote the very first book on the history of Palomar Mountain; Teepee to Telescope. You'll find a copy in the cabin for a good read.Lots of natural light make this little cabin feel spacious, the windows throughout the cabin offer a beautiful forest view.

Cedar Crest is a nicely remodeled cabin while keeping its original charm. It is easy access. A few steps lead you to the deck in the middle of the trees... This cabin can sleep 2 people in a king bed and if you would like to bring your kids, the master bedroom has a full size futon. (Kids sleep free) For pet owner, the east side of the cabin has a fenced-in space. We recommend you do not let them be there unsupervised as a motivated mountain lion could jump the fence and arm your pet.

Unwind at this stunning Boho-Inspired studio under the stars! The studio was lovingly built with white shiplap, high ceilings, and modern details for a luxurious yet charming feel. Enjoy the stars and mountain views from our Bali-Inspired garden. The studio is located in the rural and peaceful hillside community of Rancho Spanish Hills, a quiet and serene setting for a couples getaway! Although the property feels peaceful and secluded, some of the best wineries are only 15-20 min away!

The RoadHouse! A cozy, stylish spot smack dab in the middle of wine country. You can walk to many wineries from our location, really! Or stay on site and enjoy the private jacuzzi spa (always hot!), have a round of mini golf or just relax on the deck. Located on a fully fenced property The Roadhouse has everything you need for a fantastic wine country getaway. Don’t forget to get up early and check out the hot air balloons. They land outside our fence most days!
