A short intermediate trail besides the cabin will take you down to the beach. The 560 square foot cabin is set back on the property, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Juan de Fuca Straight and the Olympia Mountains. J&F placed a big emphasis on outdoor entertaining with a massive covered deck, the picnic table patio, & access to a cedar barrel sauna! Whether coming from close or far, you deserve it!

Heather Cottage - Beautiful Wetland Views

Charming small cottage situated on the edge of wetlands with beautiful views. Private gazebo with covered firepit and a dock over looking the large pond. Located on our 5 acre free range egg farm in Merville, BC. The pond is home to a family of beavers, bald eagles, blue heron and various birds. Private walking trail off the cottage and access to the One Spot Trail at the end of our private drive. We are 20 mins from downtown Courtenay and 10 mins to the Mount Washington turn off.

Welcome to the "The Ship Wreck", a sea container in the forest. Located in the community of Shirley, stay for the escape or enjoy the local beaches, hiking, camping and surfing. The Ship Wreck is a comfortable recycled sea container, placed in the trees on my private and forested 2.5 acre property in rural Shirley BC. It is a peaceful space with a large outdoor fire pit and many amenities of home. The Ship Wreck is a "glamping" experience, but fully insulated and heated.

Mini fridge and microwave. Please note there is no kitchen and we live on the property with our blue heeler.
