Settle into this unique northwest retreat tucked into cozy Burke Bay. Built in the 1960s, this spacious A-frame has fun vintage vibes with modern comforts. Surrounded by 6+ acres of lush forrest, the whole crew will have plenty of room to get out and explore. At the base of two massive cedar trees, enjoy a relaxing soak in the bubbling cedar hot tub that overlooks the bay and its abundant marine life. Seals have been spotted swimming in the waters below. Westside Cabin

Our place is just a few miles from the Fauntleroy/Vashon ferry terminal, and minutes from the town of Vashon. Tucked snuggly on the West side of the island, the cabin looks west over Colvos Passage. The cabin itself is essentially a spacious studio-- one large room with a loft, a small kitchen, and bathroom. A queen size bed is in the loft, and the couch comfortably sleeps one person. The bathroom has a large clawfoot soaking tub, and there is an outdoor shower. It is extremely cozy!

Serene Lake-front A-Frame Cabin (1 bed + Loft)

Enjoy the private lakefront and dock from this classic 1-bed + loft A-frame cabin! Recently remodeled kitchen and bath. Great for couples or small families who enjoy the outdoors! The bedroom features bunk beds (perfect for little ones) while the loft features a mid-century modern Queen bed for adults. Basic kayaks, inflatables, and life jackets are provided! Enjoy the peace & serenity of a quiet, non-motorized little lake in the woods in a classic, vintage A-Frame!

Waterfront with Hot Tub PNW Cabin

Your vacation rental, Marea, sits right at the water's edge on low bank waterfront with unobstructed views. There's a permitted Deep-water floating dock (if you would like to arrive by boat). RV parking is also available. The beach is littered with oysters & clams. The expansive deck is ideal for entertaining or enjoying the views from the hot tub. Enjoy kayaking and bird watching while roasting smores around the firepit. 3 kayaks are available. No Pets please.

Sip your morning coffee whilst you listen to birdsong and let the stress melt away. And when evening falls, slip into the hot tub—it's warm embrace overlooking the Hood Canal is pure bliss. Sunrise and sunset paint the sky in hues of gold and indigo, creating a mesmerizing canvas that changes with each passing moment.

Storybook Cabin

A handbuilt cabin at the edge of the forest. Rustic and artistically put together. A romantic getaway, a magical woodland adventure and a healing retreat. Slow down and enjoy a simpler way of living. Guests are allowed access at check in. Prior access may be arranged with express permission from the host. Please note that there is a large slipper tub and no shower. The refrigerator is under the counter and has not a freezer. We have severe animal allergies.
