Equestrians, you can arrange to bring your horse, ride in our arena or on nearby stunning Uretiti beach. If you'd like to bring your friendly dog, we can accommodate your furry friends. Our location is very quiet: no traffic noise, just the occasional sound of surf and birds. Not just for horse lovers.

This retreat offers an experience in comfort & sustainability. You will be 5 to 15 km from some of NZ's great expansive white sandy beaches, stunning walks, cafes & outdoor pursuits. Your accommodation is half of the main house. It is completely closed off for your privacy with private access & outdoor deck. BBQ by request. Not suitable for children.

A private and peaceful Hot Tub area is available for your use. "Southwind" is a small rural property surrounded by farmland and other lifestyle blocks. We are 15 mins drive on sealed roads to amenities in both Mangawhai and Wellsford, 8 mins to the Te Arai surf beach turnoff and 12 minutes to the Te Arai Links course.

Beautiful ocean views from the main room and all three bedrooms. Please note that our parking platform is best for 2 cars only. A lovely fully equipped modern cottage in a rural setting on the beautiful Kaipara Harbour (only 90 mins north of Auckland). Peaceful and private, you can lounge on the bean bags on the deck, or watch the tui as you soak in the bath. Native bush runs down to an estuary outside your floor to ceiling windows. Sheep, dogs, ducks and birdlife share the property with you as well as the occassional peacock harem.
