House is spacious with a lot for kids to do. It is a bit dated but we were just there to ski so did not spend too much time in the house. We did try using the sauna but it did not seem to get hot enough - fun idea though. We did arrive to the house at 10 p.m and it was at 50 degrees - understandably the thermostat is set to go off to conserve energy but would be great if it doesn't go off to that extent when guests are due to arrive. Location was great as it was a quick 10 minute drive to Gore mountain.

I recently stayed at this charming cabin in Warrensburg, NY, and had a wonderful experience. The location was perfect, close to the Lake George area but far enough to ensure privacy and tranquility, with a beautiful river just across the road. The cabin was spotless, featuring a fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living room, and two beautifully decorated bedrooms. Gary, the host, was excellent, informing us about a broken glass on a secondary door before check-in and offering to replace it promptly, though it didn't affect our stay. The outdoor amenities were the real highlights, with a firepit, the river, and especially the hot tub, which was the star of the stay. I only wish we had booked it for a whole week instead of just 3-4 days. I wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable retreat, and I look forward to staying here again in the future.

Beautiful location and house amenities were exceptional. Host even had a welcome basket of goodies sitting out for our arrival. Kitchen, bathroom and bedrooms well appointed and the views spectacular. Close to lots of activities and restaurants Would definitely stay again

This Airbnb deserves 5 stars across the board in every category. This home was the perfect stay for a group of friends or family to getaway and relax for a weekend (or longer). We stayed here during the winter, but everyone loved it so much we were saying how we should come back in the Summer! The entire house is so comfy! The couches, chairs, blankets etc just made it such a nice relaxing stay. Also the arcade / movie theater basement was so much fun!!! We really loved that there were smart TVs in every room that could be logged into whatever streaming service you prefer. Also the bathrooms were immaculate, absolute dream bathroom near the master bedroom. I would also love to mention the mudroom, this house has a no shoes policy which is super easy when they have a beautiful roomy entry way with HEATED FLOORS. William and Giselle have really focused on the little details in each and every room and it really shows. Thank you again for an amazing stay.

We really loved our stay at the Severance house. The beautiful setting and fireplaces + hot tub made it an ideal ski house. This is a great find for those who love a place with character and are endeared to the quirks and whimsy of an old home rather than frustrated by them. I would recommend and definitely consider another stay.

There were 2 families in our group. The property offered plenty of space for everyone with some nice entertainment options. The property is very clean and well maintained. I was a little suprise to discover you have to access the basement entertainment area via an exterior entrance to the basement. Maybe I just missed that detail in the listing. Not a big deal as it is basically out one door and in the other. It is a cool place to hang out and have some fun. The location was great for us as half of the crew went skiing at Gore Mountain and the other half went to Lake George for the day. We did have to change the date of our trip after booking due to unforeseen circumstances. This was a breeze through the app. Smith was very quick to respond and accept the change. This is an annual trip for our families and I would say this is the nicest property we have stayed at in this price range!

My family of 3 met up with another family of 3 for a little winter weekend getaway. The location was perfect, less than 15 mins to LG for the winter carnival and 1 min car ride to The Barrel where we had reservations to eat in the igloos. The house was absolutely beautiful and very clean. It had everything we could ask for available for us. We loved going in the hot tub at night and then sitting inside next to the fireplace. It snowed while we were there which made the hot tub and views even more enjoyable. Someone was there to shovel and plow so we didn’t have to do any work. We definitely would like to return during the warmer months to use the kayaks and go to the beaches. Michelle sent recommendations which we greatly appreciated and responded very quickly to any messages. 10/10 would recommend!!

We’ve been coming to Schroon for 18 years, so have a lot of experience with cabin rentals in the area. The outdoor space at Sally’s is stunning, with sunsets that never got old! Though the property is just off the road, it was quiet and very private, as the front of the cabin and outdoor space face the pristine shoreline. The cabin is rustic and cozy in all the good ways, & the beds are so, SO comfortable! We cooked most of our meals in, which made it nice to have such a beautiful view from the kitchen window. The Adirondack Store is within walking/biking distance, which made it fun to dine in for breakfast before heading out for a day of hiking/mountain biking/fishing/ADK Extreme/exploring. Whatever our daytime activities were, we made sure to back at the cabin to cook, take an evening swim & view the gorgeous sunsets. There were a few household mishaps beyond our host’s control, but she maintained good communication, promptly addressing the issues. We hope to stay here again!

Our stay was all good. FYI, the space is on a high 2nd floor, be sure you can handle some steps.

This Airbnb was set up perfectly for the group I traveled with. We had plenty of space to spread out, comfy beds, and a great kitchen. The hot tub was an awesome bonus - shout-out to Airbnb manager Ashley for going out of her way to get it set up for us. We were ski racing at West Mountain and the home was conveniently located to the mountain. Would highly recommend it.

We had a great weekend at Lindsay's and John cabin. It was very clean, well equipped and conveniently close to Gore Mountain. We would return without any doubt. Thanks Lindsay and John for sharing your place with us.

Perfection for my adult children, nephews, grandson, dog to come together for a wonderful long weekend. Home is clean and large but comfy bc you’re all together in the well appointed kitchen/ dining and living area. Rooms are spacious with plenty of beds, linens and towels. Close to Gore for skiing. Saturday spent in Lake George where there is plenty to see in the winter! 30 min away. We definitely recommend this home and look forward to staying again

This is a beautiful location and a very comfortable house. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit and hot tub. The view of the lake is beautiful. We really enjoyed our stay, and the hosts were great.

Very nice place, convenient location and nice amenities. There were ants coming through the back of the house and there weren’t any cleaning supplies (i.e. brooms) but it was a great place nonetheless.

We recently spent 2 nights and 3 days at this stunning cabin with close friends and family, and it exceeded all expectations. The space was much larger than we anticipated and absolutely beautiful. The hot tub, movie theater, and game room were the perfect escape and made our stay even more enjoyable. Our host was incredibly respectful and communicated everything clearly from start to finish. We really appreciated the detailed instructions, maps, and updates on road conditions—it made our arrival smooth and stress-free. Thank you.
