gosh, could not glow more about just how gorgeous this stay was. Bajas cottage was everything and more than described. the property the land sits on is like its own peaceful site to see. we played on the grounds and walked to the water every day. chipman’s wharf had the most delicious lobster and very nice people. so happy we had our first whole lobster from them! a great recommendation. also the host pup pearl was absolutely adorable. we loved seeing her every day and our dog did tooo. a vacation for the whole family. such a peaceful place to honeymoon with such kind hosts. definitely would stay again.

We had a wonderful stay at Jesstine’s cabin! This is our second summer staying here with our two kids and two dogs. The location is incredible and the cabin has everything you need. We hope to come back for many summers!

Being right on the water allowed for a beautiful and very relaxing weekend getaway. Although it is a bit of a drive to get to Acadia, we enjoyed exploring the quiet side of things. This place was cozy and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Stunning views, wonderfully comfortable with so much charm. Loved playing the piano with friends and the kitchen space was fantastic!

We booked Mary's place for three coworkers while they were in a job in Calais. They reported that it was awesome and much preferred it over the meager solutions out that way. Very nice and reasonable option.

The River House was beautiful. The view from the kitchen, sun room and master bedroom are amazing. You can even see the river from the bed. The entire house is so cute and the decor is wonderful. There's plenty of room for everyone. We were working and I would make dinner for the crew every night and there is a big dining room table. We added the little "puzzle" table to the end; plenty of room for everyone. There are built in gas fire places that made the ambiance very cozy and the living room couch is fabulous. There are many special details in and out. People in town are great and even helped out on the paving job. This is definitely a place where one can enjoy a beautiful home, and relax. It feels like a vacation. We did go kayaking once and I saw a bald eagle, and that was magical. Outside there are cute areas to sit and look at the water with a great firepit. And its dog friendly, a must! Just keep them leashed as the front is on a busy road, but is still feels private.

We loved our stay at the cottage! We are native Mainers and the Steuben/Milbridge area is one of our go-to locations for relaxation. The cottage was private, peaceful, and the views were amazing! Being right on the water was a nice perk and we spent some time on the rocks when the tide was out. The cottage has wonderfully comfortable furniture and one of the most comfortable beds we have slept on! It is also one of the cleanest cottages we have stayed in as well. It felt very much like home! Teresa was in contact throughout our stay to make sure everything was going smoothly. It was great to know she was there to answer any questions we may have had. We will definitely stay again!!!

Loved our stay at the cabin! The home was stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, has the most beautiful scenery to wake up to (we also were able to see the Northern Lights at night!) and while the bathroom is small, it was carefully thought through and functional. It is a bit of a drive to Acadia National Park and dining options, but we didn’t mind it with the lovely fall scenery along the way. The host was very responsive and friendly, we would definitely stay here again.

This home is just lovely. The town is very small and you need to drive 10-15 miles to the nearest "large" town to get groceries of any consequence. That being said, get what you need ahead of time and just enjoy the GORGEOUS surroundings. A marvelous place to decompress. There is no TV and no radio reception which we loved. We were able to buy lobster right off a boat and everything you need to cook and eat them is provided. I very much like that the shower has what you need in neat push button bottles mounted on the wall. There were plenty of towels and extra blankets if needed. Can't say enough about the spectacular views. Watching the lobster/fishing boats go in and out and hearing the rumble of the engines was great. The home is close enough that you could use it for your base to visit Acadia Nat Park. Don't miss going to Winter Harbor. Small but some good art, good coffee shop, and a super general store. You can also catch a ferry over to Bar Harbor from there.

An adorable little cottage with stunning views of the bay. It was so cozy and the living room sunrise views were amazing. Alicia was friendly and welcoming and is the reason we got to see the northern lights! She texted to let us know they were visible not 10 min after we arrived. 10/10 would stay again!

Very peaceful, beautiful location. Quiet and restful. Good fishing in the lake. Nice hikes & walks nearby. Easiest check-in ever. Everything worked perfectly. Wish we had booked two weeks instead of one. Hope to return. One recommendation, bring enough food for a day or two on arrival. It's a looong way to a typical grocery store. The Dunbar Store on Rt 1 has a little bit of everything, friendly staff, and is fairly close.

We loved the beautiful views from almost every window! The house was roomy and clean and worked well for 6. The yard was large, but had goose droppings on it. There was a beautiful town beach called Sandy River Beach a 5 minute drive down the road! And Robert had sand toys and chairs at the house. The property has a practically private beach down a stair/walkway and I loved going to it, but it had sea worn glass on it, so not so good for swimming. My kids still jumped in during high tide. (The glass is mostly at the low tide level.)

Beautiful view, and house. Kitchen had everything you would need for a relaxing vacation away from home. We had such a wonderful time just relaxing at Lloyd’s place and taking in the view. Would definitely come again. Thank you Lloyd 👍

The location was absolutely amazing, walking out to the beach for low tide was a great experience. Parking accommodated our 30’ rv and an suv. Fire pit was relaxing too!

First, thank you Robert for sharing your beautiful location with the rest of us. I am a Mainer and I can’t tell you this is one of the prettiest coastal locations you will find. It is truly at the end of the world. The house was amazing and very clean. The area is so quiet and relaxing. The deer that live in the back yard, you can almost touch, but don’t because they are wild animals. A true gem!!

Spectacular view and great location for staying in or exploring Down East coast of Maine. The house is not a typical Maine coast cottage - the decor and furnishings have a vibe closer to Florida or Palm Springs, as the pictures show. That being said the layout really worked for us. The house was very comfortable. The sauna was enjoyed daily. We were there at the end of the summer season and there were personal items and some kitchen clutter. But, we are easy and none of this detracted from our stay. Lobsters from Chipmans and a fabulous coffee shop in Cherryfield. We had a great week with friends that went by too quickly.

The house was peacefully located near the little harbor. We learned a lot about tides! The interior is beautiful and open, but the best feature is the back porch. The back porch is well furnished and always shaded and the spot to relax and visit! We were just 5 minutes from the ranger station for Schoodic Peninsula, 2 minutes from a great seafood restaurant - Bunkers, 1 minute from the Pickled Wrinkle and a cute ice cream stand. At one point there were 7 adults, a little tight for the upstairs but all managed. Thanks!

This was a beautiful peaceful setting in a great location to access Acadia National Park. The cabin was very comfortable with everything we needed. Shasta was a terrific host and communicated in an extremely timely manner when we had questions. The swing out on the lake and the second floor outdoor deck were great to enjoy after getting back from a long day. The lake itself was pristine and had a gorgeous fall foliage backdrop. If nature is your thing, but with modern amenities, this is your place to stay.

We had an amazing stay! The home was absolutely beautiful — even better than the photos. The location was fantastic, close to everything we wanted to see and do. Our host went above and beyond with so many thoughtful personal touches that truly made us feel welcomed. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Unbelievable place! This is perfect coastal Maine , so no need to leave property.its close to a great beach , Acadia, and host makes it easy and a wonderful experience!

Amelie was a great host. If you want to be near Bar Harbor, it’s a bit of a drive. If you are fine enjoying the more secluded and peaceful beauty of Schoodic, it’s an amazing, magical place!

Susan is so incredibly helpful and accomodating! She answered all of our questions and gave us lots of very useful information to assure we made the most of our trip to Maine! The house was spotless and the location was breathtaking! 10/10!
