The quaint studio cottage overlooks the Scott River flats, the Homestead and farm land. To the back of the cottage is the untouched bush leading all the way to the South Coast. Explore the river that runs through the property, say hello to our farm animals, pick some fruits and vegetables from our kitchen garden, go wildflower hunting, bush walking, 4x4 driving or fishing. we are on the edge of the D'Entrecasteaux National Park and within an hour of many towns in the south west region.

Umatah Retreat Chalet

Umatah means "you matter". Umatah to us, Umatah to yourself, Umatah to those around you and Umatah to the environment. Umatah is part of the original State Brick Works that was closed down in the 1940’s after their excavations hit an underground spring. The property runs on organic principles and has a mango orchard, apiary, vegetable wicking beds plus various other fruit and nut trees. There is a large waterhole, landscaped gardens and endless native bushland.

Relax and hide away in our self-contained cabin in front of the log fire or sit on the decked balcony with a refreshing drink in hand and watch the variety of wild birds and sheep that roam the 90 tranquil acres. The cabin is out of sight so nothing can disturb you except for the sound of the nature. Please note -there is no oven, no wifi. Adults only and no pets.

Wolfes Landing - a rustic home on the inlet

Wolfe’s Landing is a beautifully rustic and quirky home overlooking the spectacular Nenamup Inlet. This chalet is named after the original Wolfes Landing - now the Albany jetty – which was the embarkation point for soldiers heading to Gallipoli. Timbers rescued from this jetty are the signature feature of this chalet, and are a poignant and constant reminder of those who have gone before us.
