The Cottage at Gilbert Landing

This cozy 1955 Sears & Roebuck kit house has been brought back to life! We vaulted ceilings and removed walls, but kept the original footprint. It is just the right size for a getaway for 2 - 4 with 1 private bedroom and a sleeping loft. It has all the modern conveniences and is nestled at Gilbert Landing, 1 mile from downtown and 15 min to TIEC. We are dog-friendly, with host approval. There is a $99 pet fee for one dog. No dogs under 1 year. Additional pet & cleaning fees longer stays.

Lovely 7 1/2 acre property with pond, fire pit and hiking trails. Three BR and 1 1/2 bath in 1100 ft.² Will sleep 6 people. A second Airbnb on the property is available and also sleeps 4-6. Located in Downtown Forest City this charming apartment, built in 2023, is within walking distance to Main Street for festivals, Christmas lights, Carriage Rides and all Forest City has to offer. POPS Pavilion venue is nearby as well as walking and biking on the paved rail trail. Lake Lure, Chimney Rock, Tryon Equestrian Center, and Gardner Webb University all approximately 30 minutes away or less. Charlotte Airport, Asheville and GSP all within an hour drive.

Forest City FootHills Retreat

Beautiful home, just off the beaten (driveway) path in Forest City. We welcome large groups of at least 12 guests. This two-story home is in Forest City NC and is situated in the foothills of the Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. The town is interconnected by three US highways, 74, 221, 64, and one state highway 108. Forest City is only 15 minutes away from the Tryon International Equestrian Center and soon to be Tryon AVA wine region.
