The Tiny (off grid) House on Wai Māhanga Farm

Your Air Conditioned accoms are a small Off Grid Tiny Home. It is situated in Taumārere just out of Kawakawa on SH11 on the way to Paihia on our working Regenerative Farm. Specifically built for couples to enjoy the privacy and beautiful farm views over green paddocks to the Cycleway and Vintage Railway. Our tiny house is intimate, open plan, with a small kitchen incl a double gas stovetop and a wee fridge/freezer. Check out our waterhole, walk with the cows, relax and enjoy! Paihia 17min drive

Whananaki Barn - Cottage 1

Whananaki Barn is on 15 acres of lifestyle block overlooking the sea. It is totally OFF GRID so if you love peace and tranquillity this is the place for you! It has great views of both the native bush and the beach. You’ll love my place because of the beauty, the outdoor space, the sunrise and sunsets and it is off-grid!. Vineyard Glamping Russell - The Syrah Shack

Hidden inside native bush is our glamping hut named 'the syrah shack', which is nestled behind our syrah vines. The location is 10 minutes out of Russell township, in the Bay of Islands. You will have a vineyard, cellar door and eatery 1km from the hut. Escape your worries and get off the grid in our eco retreat. Enjoy the luxury of a super king bed and the serenity of an outdoor camping style kitchen, hot shower, composting toilet and the best bit is an outdoor bath for two!!

Top House - unrivalled views and privacy

The Top House, so named because of its location, with 270 degree views, has unrivalled privacy, and it's own helipad. This recently renovated 3 bedroom house is located on 330 acres of private farmland. The house has been finished to a high standard, with excellent amenities, including hot tub with amazing views, outdoor dining and lounge spaces on 360 degree decks, WiFi, two TVs, heaps of parking, modern kitchen and luxury bathrooms, and comfortable stylish furniture throughout.

Pukeko Refuge

This is a lovely large quiet and tranquil separate unit with a new bathroom. A small stream gurgles alongside enjoyed by pukekoes and eels. We want you to enjoy the birdlife, therefore we have food for you to feed the fantails, eels and pukekoes. A Gazebo over looking the stream to watch the pukeko playing, maybe enjoying a glass of wine. The unit has a microwave, fridge and toaster sofa, table and chairs for you to enjoy "home away from it all". Very safe off street parking

Kensington Studio

Modern spacious self contained studio with its own private entrance. 5 minutes from the Town Basin; a perfect base for exploring Whangarei. Upstairs bedroom with queen & single beds. Downstairs a separate bathroom adjacent to lounge with heat pump and small kitchenette. Includes jug, toaster, fridge, microwave. Some breakfast essentials such as milk, spreads, muesli, various teas & coffee facilities as a starter only. Freeview TV and Netflixs. Off street parking for one vehicle.

Knights View Retreat - Tutukaka Coast

This unique retreat is surrounded by native bush and offers stunning views of the Poor Knights Islands. Our private guest house includes a kitchenette with microwave, kettle, toaster, bar fridge, air fryer, and slow cooker. A tiled bathroom with a walk-in shower and heated towel rails and a large private decking area with BBQ. There is an outdoor shower and drying area for dive gear/wetsuits with plenty of room for those wanting to bring their surfboards or kayaks.

Situated on a private 4ha rural property on the flanks of Mt Parakiore viewing the Whangarei Harbour, our new, stand-alone cottage is inviting guests to relax on the deck spotting our local Kahu flying by. Our cabin is a cosy retreat set in our garden. It has everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It is only 20 minutes from central Whangarei and 10 minutes from Kamo, Maungatapere and SH1 so if you are travelling it would be great a place to stay. Our garden cabin would be suitable for very good value medium to long term stays.
