"The Driftwood House Suite", A Woods Bay Getaway

Our home is in Woods Bay, a small community near Flathead Lake. The suite where our guests stay is the back portion of our house with its own entrance. It consists of a porch, a bedroom, a private bathroom, a sitting room and a Pavillon outdoors with a grill and space for cooking. The sitting room includes a desk, a tele and comfy love seat as well as Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and a small refrigerator. It is just a short walk to the community beach, or several pubs, even a small market.

This is a newly constructed cabin done to luxury standards and is located on our farm down a private road, situated at the northern end of Flathead Lake. The views are spectacular as you can enjoy 360 degree views of the valley, Flathead Lake, Glacier Park, The Swan Mountains, Blacktail Mountain and the big skies and stars of Montana. The only land in between our farm and the lake is a waterfowl preserve. Plenty of wildlife on the property and it is a wonderful spot to enjoy Flathead Valley.

Waterfall can be rented individually, or combined with its neighbor cabin, Hollywood for a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath if both cabins are available. Sorry no pets!! Cross country skiing from cabin, many quiet lakes in the area, Murray Lake perfect for paddleboards. With downtown Whitefish so busy, you will enjoy the tranquility. We came to Montana as kids--My uncle built the log home we lived in with his own hands and tools. I instantly fell in love with the smell of pine, texture of wood, and old world style of living. I told myself that one day I'd build a log home too. Twenty years later, we made it happen. This home was built with my own hands, tools, and desire to create something meaningful for our family and yours. It's the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comforts. Welcome home.

Couples retreat on Flathead Lake with lake access!

The Cabin is on Woods Bay, 5 miles South of Bigfork. 45 miles to Glacier Park’s West entrance. Walking distance to 4 restaurants, & another 3 restaurants are 1 minute driving distance. Besides the many restaurants 5 miles away in Bigfork. The Cabin is very private but is on the same property of the main house. The property's beach doesn’t have a dock, but you can have access to SUP boards or kayaks for use in Woods Bay on request (rental companies charge $60/day/SUP).

Lower - Cozy and Quiet Studio

This is a small studio on the ground floor. It has a very comfy queen size bed with a remote controlled adjustable incline bed frame for adjusting your head and feet. It also has a nice work area or place to eat a meal. It has a well-stocked kitchenette and a nice bathroom with 3’ shower. The studio is perfect for two, but we can make an exception and add a cot for an extra person. Or you may bring your own infant bed.

“Gee” side of Base Camp Bigfork Lodge

The lodge is divided into two separate sides however when you book, we block the other side for the duration of our stay. This allows us to not have to turn over the whole space but you still get it all to yourself. "The Gee Side" will be yours as well as the kitchen space. "The Haw Side" will be locked and unoccupied for your stay. This space serves as a perfect retreat for a couple to regroup between adventures.

The Stillwater at Stoner Creek Cabins

Locally owned and operated, the Stillwater at Stoner Creek Cabins is one of eight identical modern tiny homes located on ten wooded acres just beyond a residential neighborhood. We offer year-round comfort in a wooded setting. The Stillwater is located on the hillside of the property with shared views into our forest from the living area and patio.
