Excellent place to stay during your time in woolacombe.

the location of the apartment close to the sea is perfect. arrival and checkin instructions were clear. We planned to arrive a little earlier than the. heck in time and the team on site were really helpful and gave us an early checkin.

Lovely spot, minutes from the sea. Great walks accessible from the apartment. Nice kitchen and welcome treats from host. Overall a very good jumping off point to visit woolacombe and surrounding areas!

We had a fantastic week staying at this lovely Airbnb apartment in Woolacombe, Devon. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short stroll to the beach and right on the doorstep of some stunning coastal walks with breathtaking views. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was the perfect base to explore the area. The hosts were friendly, responsive, and made us feel very welcome. We’d definitely love to return and highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a peaceful seaside escape!

We had a fabulous holiday at Byron on our return to Woolacombe. We haven’t stayed at these apartments before but will certainly return after such a brilliant stay. The apartment was so well equipped and the location is amazing- as far to walk as the car park for the beach! The facilities at Byron are also brilliant and we made good use of the pool, though the weather was really good this was a great form of entertainment for our two children. The washing machine was a huge help and meant we could get lots of washing done each day after the beach, and also really appreciated the coffee, tea, milk and dishwasher tablets etc which were left for us. We would really recommend Byron holidays and will return.

This apartment was perfect for my 3 year old and me on our holiday. Spacious to run around, all the kitchen equipment we needed, pool and car charger plus walking distance to the beach. I will be back with more family members next year!

Brilliant place. Such an awesome location

The flat was clean, we've had access to the indoor pool, sauna and gym. If you're looking for a cozy place to stay, I will definitely recommend the place.

Really great place for a vacation, either a short or a longer break. Stunning place and very well cared for, with really comfortable and spacious accommodation, and nice common areas, especially for families. Very peaceful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna are great, although a bit busy at times (as expected). Nice bar/play room with games for when the weather is not so great. Shame that the restaurant was closed for renovations at the time, but that was expected as it was mentioned in the listing. Area around is served by plenty and really nice, traditional pubs with good food and drink. Great experience, overall!

Wonderful apartment (bigger than expected from the photos), in a fantastic location! Great communication from point of booking, and right through to our entire stay. Will definitely visit again!

Very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect for us and we loved the swimming and games room. The staff was also really helpful whenever we needed anything.

We had a fantastic stay at The Retreat in Croyde. The place was spotless, nicely decorated in a cosy, relaxed style, and had everything we needed for a self-catered holiday. The hosts had thought of lovely touches, like leaving us some local milk, great quality teas, and some kombucha — a really nice welcome after a long journey. You can tell they care about clean, natural living, both in how the space is set up and the products they offer. The views from the window were lovely, and having our own parking space was a real bonus. The hosts were also incredibly responsive and accommodating to anything we needed, which made the whole experience easy and relaxed. Overall, I would definitely stay here again and will be recommending it to friends. It’s the kind of place I’d happily pick over a hotel — great value for the cleanliness, comfort, and location.

Great apartment complex right by the beach. The flat was very clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen and a very kind welcome package (milk, Easter eggs - thank you!). We felt right at home. Views of the sea, comfy beds, a pool + sauna. Very good management, friendly staff and very straightforward to engage with. A nice personal touch by the owners too, with a whole guide full of fab recommendations. We will definitely be back if they’ll have us!

Wir verbrauchten 2 wunderschöne Wochen im Haus von Catherine und Matt. Es war bei weitem das schönste Airbnb sowie Fereinhaus das ich bis jetzt hatte. Ausgestattet war es mit allem was man braucht, hochwertig Einrichtung, fantastische Aussichten auf das Meer, bequeme Betten und ein sehr schöner eingezäunten Garten. Vielen Dank Catherine und Matt.

Wow Gratton House was amazing. Stunning views of the countryside and a fantastic place to stay all in one. The property itself is very impressive, comfy, and very large. The kitchen was kitted out with everything we needed with more than enough space. The hosts were on hand with all the information we needed. I’d recommend Gratton House to anyone and would definitely stay here again.

A huge thank you to Jonathan and Kate for an amazing stay, the Upper Arches was perfect for a week with the family. The place was just right for the 6 of us and a lovely, peaceful setting for my wife to work from. Very well decorated, clean, well equipped and a bonus was the gym, which was fully utilised for the entire week! Upon arrival we had a lovely hamper basket full of goodies and essentials to help get our stay off to a great start. A few days in and Kate brought over a delicious lemon drizzle cake she had baked for us, went down a treat with my parents and the kids. The views are beautiful, and great location to explore north Devon. Jonathan is an excellent host, very helpful, warm and welcoming. Highly recommend this barn conversion, will be one we will return to for sure. Thank you

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.

Thirteen of us travelled from all over the UK to celebrate my partner’s 40 th birthday ! The house is absolutely stunning as are the well maintained gardens . Swimming pool and sauna were just incredible . Beautiful towels provided as was all the bedding and great variety of room lay outs to accommodate a large and varied group. The Agga in the kitchen was great to cook on and a great source of heat as was the open log fire with lots of logs provided . Few nice touches on arrival were jam ,scone clotted cream and milk provided . Also great shower gel in each shower . Would highly recommend !

This was a great place to stay, close to the beach and a lovely space - even better than the photos. It was very well kitted out, especially the kitchen, dining, board games and DVDs, more than similar rentals.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We booked the accommodation last minute and Jonathan and Kate were exceptionally accommodating. They got the house prepped for a really big group over night and were super friendly and helpful when we arrived. We had a lovely welcome hamper waiting for us and even received a homemade cake mid stay. The kids had an absolute ball exploring the grounds and the walks from the farm through the forest were really lovely. We highly recommend for a big group. The rooms were spacious and we’ve never slept in more comfy beds! Thanks for having us all! We loved it!
