Dan was super helpful, responsive and friendly. Ideal place for a family or couples to stay for a truly relaxing and peaceful break from reality. The place was clean and tidy and felt very homely. The private therapist you can hire was SUPERB and a great addition to our stay. Everything was perfect and you cannot fault Dan in the slightest - excellent host.

WOW! What a stay. Such a beautiful lodge, in such beautiful surroundings and so quiet and peaceful. The inside of the lodge is stunning. The decor is beautiful and absolutely spotless. The bed is so comfy, bedding is amazing too! The lodge is equipped with everything you need as well as lovely complimentary bits and bobs. The little personal touches are lovely too. The bath and outdoor bath / hot tub are amazing, especially in the sun! Kate is a great host and so friendly and helpful. The check in was smooth, directions were perfect and we found the property with no problems at all. We had such a lovely stay and didn’t want to leave! Really pretty house that was immaculate. Everything was spotless and comfortable. My children enjoyed the board games too. There was a care package with great food and drink. The house is a very short walk from the centre of town. It is ideal for a couple or a family to stay in. We had a great time.

The cottage was absolutely beautiful with gorgeous view. The house was clean and tidy and everything we needed was there. We had a great time celebrating our friend's 40th birthday. The pub was a 2 mn walk from the Airbnb. Jenny welcomed us and was so lovely and friendly. Stow on the Wold is beautiful Cotswold little town with many cafés, restaurants and gift shops. Some of us are planning to come back at some point with our families. I highly recommend this place

This place is amazing - it has a magical feeling as soon as you walk through the door and step onto the beautiful limestone flooring. The lighting isn't just functional but really adds to the classy atmosphere. The same can be said for all the furnishings and even the fittings - the sofa and even the radiators will have you admiring their form as well as function and the brick walls just exude character and charm befitting of such beautiful period property. The living room furniture is also extremely tasteful. In fact we felt it unnecessary to even try one of the many top restaurants within walking distance as we felt nowhere would top the atmosphere of the living room with it's glorious log burner and copper top table! The bath area is like a mini spa!! This place is not weather dependent - you really can spend a weekend just relaxing indoors and that is exactly what we did! David was very nice - quickly providing a bag full of logs for us when we enquired where to get some. Awesome!!

My daughter's and I really enjoyed our short Easter break. The location was so peaceful and beautiful. A much needed retreat from Birmingham. We made full use of the wonderfully relaxing hot tub. We enjoyed a meal out at The Ship Inn and several walks along the river. We took a walk to The Severn Valley Visitors Centre and caught the steam train back from the Country Park Halt. A lovely afternoon out. We recommend this Airbnb and hope yo visit again in the future.

Great place for a long weekend! We had such a nice, quiet and relaxing getaway here - a really nice break from busy London. Would highly recommend! Lovely view and loved hearing the sheep with their lambs, as well as the chickens. Even saw some of the sheepdogs out and about

The old forge is a beautiful cottage in a great location. the attention to detail in the house and little touches really make it feel extra special. Zoe and family have clearly put a lot of thought in to the house to make it feel welcoming. The cottage has everything you need if you're staying in, the little courtyard garden has mediterranean feel to it. In terms of location, it's right in the centre of ross on wye and no need to use your car at all as plenty of walks from the house if that's what you like. would definitely stay again and thoroughly recommend.

Ally's place exceeded our expectations. This is about the only rental we've used that we would enjoy living in for an extended period. Modern and very well-equipped space. Had everything needed for first-day breakfast, along with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge. Ally kept in touch to make sure we had all we needed.
