Beautiful location, private, pristine, peaceful. Lots of space, well set up for water activities, fireside chats, and relaxing the day away. The sauna is a wonderful addition. Well stocked with lots of towels and firewood, great layout with an open kitchen and comfortable living room.

We enjoyed our time at Castaway Ocean Lodge. The location is very peaceful and scenic. We wanted to escape from the city and relax while taking in the ocean views- the deck was a perfect place to hangout. We had already been to the area before, so we knew that most of our time would be spent at the cottage. It had everything we needed. Loads of board games, all cooking necessities and even some kayaks! We explored Crescent beach in Lockeport and drove down to Carter’s Beach for the day (well worth it). Thanks for having us!

I highly recommend this short-term rental property! The location is private and tranquil, set against stunning oceanfront and surrounded by lush forest. It’s conveniently situated near Lockport, Shelburne, and several beautiful beaches and parks, providing the perfect balance of seclusion and accessibility. The open-concept design, featuring a loft and a cozy wood-burning stove, offers a warm and inviting atmosphere. However, the standout feature is undoubtedly the incredibly relaxing wood-fired hot tub, which is right off the deck and overlooks the ocean—an ideal spot to unplug and unwind. For the warmer months, kayaks and canoes are available for your enjoyment. There’s a big BBQ too! The hosts are very responsive and provide plenty of dry, split firewood for your convenience. This is the perfect place to completely relax and recharge. Thanks to the process of discovery, for the opportunity to experience such a wonderful getaway!

The location was so beautiful and quiet! The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of seating inside and outside. The one amenity that we missed was a dryer but the portable washer worked well. The host was very communicative and we felt like we get got a great bargain. Even though I came from the west coast, I got up at sunrise each morning and it was memorable!

We felt like we had a break from the world. It was peaceful, very cozy, charming, and comfortable. We slept like babies, even though it was cooler weather and we had to put wood in the stove for heat (something we enjoyed immensely). Kitchen was reasonably equipped, so we just cooked our own meals. If you’re ok with a few bugs and spiders here and there (nothing dangerous), you’ll love it. We plan to be back.

Ginny was the most lovely and gracious host. From the very first time she reached out, I felt her kindness and sincerity. She even offered an early check in, where no one had stayed the day before. She didn't need to do that, but it was incredibly thoughtful and just made us feel more welcomed. We were so excited see this place, and it didn't disappoint. The house was a beautiful combination of rustic and modern. Every accent and piece of furniture was thought out, and just added to the uniqueness of the property. The claw foot bath tub was my favourite. I would come back for that alone! I highly recommend checking this place out, especially in the fall. You can't beat Autumn in the Valley.

Wow, wow, wow. What an amazing experience at Nancy & Darren’s Airbnb. It was as beautiful in person as it was in the pictures. Five stars across the board from communication with Nancy, the decor, design, all of the intricate touches, it was perfect, last but not least was the advantage of being able to bring our dog Dolly. We will be booking again in the future.

Claudia was a wonderful host. She was super helpful and ensured we got the most out of our visit. Dragonfly dreams is private and secluded. She has canoes, kayaks and a screened in porch. The sunrises are amazing and it's very peaceful listening to nature around you. We loved meeting both her and Tashi. She is definitely a warm and kind person. We highly recommend her place.

Highly recommend this place!! I stayed here with three of my friends and it had everything we needed. It was a clear night and the stars were out so bright. This property also has beautiful views of the lake and is in a very peaceful area. To top it off, the host is wonderful at communicating! Check in was made extremely simple for us. Would definitely stay here again.

I am not going to give away their secret but they went above and beyond to make our stay exceptional. You will have to book to see how they look after you. Their home was exceptional roomy and extremely clean. Very well stocked for everything you need.

Beautiful spot nestled in the woods on a gorgeous lake. Plenty of outdoor activities and two large cabins for those rainy days. Can’t recommend enough if you are looking for a secluded get away.

We had a wonderful stay at Matthew's place! The location was perfect for our work, and it was such a treat to come home to the cozy cottage each day. We really appreciated the hot shower and the convenience of being able to throw our wet work clothes straight into the laundry. The spacious living area was the ideal spot to unwind, and the screened, covered deck gave us extra space to store gear out of the rain. A couple of friends stayed with us for a few nights and loved it as much as we did! The skylights were a lovely touch, and the short walk to the lake was a bonus. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re working in the area!

A lovely large cabin in a beautiful setting, perfect for our annual family get together. Even though it was the end of September, our 10 year old spent several hours each day swimming in the lake and using the many watercraft options (paddle boat, kayaks, paddle board, canoe, etc). Mornings were spent sitting at the end of the dock with a coffee in hand watching the sun rise, and evenings were spent sitting around the cozy firepit. This place is serenity at its finest, and we can't wait to book again.

Beautiful, large, private home. Central to everything you want to do in Yarmouth and surrounding areas. Even better in person. Beautiful yard with fire pit. Has everything you need and more! Highly recommended!

Neptune‘s Rise is a wonderfull place. Great view on the Jordan bay. The house is located on a small side road. Therefore it was calm and there was pace in each direction to the neighbors. In the region many beautiful beaches, small haboirs wait to be explored alongside the Lighthouse route. The house had very good equipment was tidy and clean. You feel at home when entering the house. We often enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Helen did an amazing job. We git very giid and useful information ahead of our trip, so that we were very good prepared. In the House additional Information habe been provided that helped during the stay. Communication with Helen was reactive and absolutly friendly and supportive. Thanks for the great stay.
