The 1950s cane cutters Barracks looks the same outside but inside it has become a comfortable modern guest wing to the 1920s farmhouse. On the top floor, there are two ensuite rooms with queen beds, and a third room with two single beds which has a bathroom downstairs. It's a sunny morning , there's not a breath of wind , or ripple on the tidal lake 35 steps from my bedroom ( your bedroom ? ). the ocean is just across the National Park and here in the palms , the privacy and peace is magical . you're protected from hot summer winds and sunset evenings dining out , sharing the ambience, go..on and on .....
