Be lulled to sleep by the peaceful river under the stars of a beautiful Blue Ridge Mountain view. We love the island feeling it has with a little log waterfall and a lot of natural sand between our toes. We can provide new queen air mattress for A frame, up to 4 hammocks, or feel free to bring your own, a tent, a small camper, etc. The road in is relatively flat, but is natural ground. A primitive outhouse is on site as well as a gas grill and firewood. Dogs are welcome if picked up after.

The Blue Ridge Parkway is now open. We are just steps to the Blue Ridge Parkway, minutes to Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Park, New River State Park, and at the edge of the Yadkin Valley Wine District, the list of activities are endless including sitting on the deck or by the fire pit watching the view go by. That view has been said to be “The best view in the Blue Ridge." This spacious 2400 sq ft home is yours while you play in one of the most beautiful areas in the country.

River Front retreat

Our home is a 2 bedroom, 2 bath post & beam style cabin. It sits on 4 acres with mountain access/views, and river views with easy access. We are directly on the New River with 330 feet of river frontage at the end of a private road with plenty of distance to the closest neighbor. The living room has a beautiful stacked stone fireplace with a pullout couch and 2 sets of French Doors opening onto the front porch and the spacious side covered porch.
