Given that the second bathroom in outside with a quick walk down side of house, it was lovely and big. Yes, the home is older but extra cozy. The beds were good and small kitchen perfect for cooking. Could use one more serving bowl. Location was divine! short walk to Marine Street and ferry. A quiet, lovely street. We loved the french doors and half doors to let a beach breeze circulate. Washer and dryer were convenient. Parking always available on street. Granted, it is not brand new but had all we needed. Could not have enjoyed ourselves more. We would definitely love to return in the future.

Our second time at the property - we returned as we like it so much! Quiet and private, yet only 20 feet from the beach front. Close to amenities - Pavilions supermarket, Chipotle for great food, and Handels for awesome ice-cream! We hope to return in the future!

Such a perfect location! Had a great stay, a little cozy but plenty of room for our family of five.

This property lived up to everything promised and more. It was clean (and I am picky!), well located, and easy to access by following the detailed instructions. Our guests, as well as ourselves, were comfortable with the beds and furnishings. The kitchen was well stocked and the towels, linens, and little extras were all appreciated. All of us that stayed had no problem with the stairs. If anyone planning to visit has mobility issues, you might want to look elsewhere, but that is the ONLY reason not to book a stay at this wonderful Air B&B. Also, nearby parking was not in issue for our guest who parked nearby on a clearly marked public street (not in the alley behind the property). Thanks Clifton!

Beautiful downstairs unit on the water. Very clean and comfortable. Fantastic location and incredibly close to the main street. We loved sitting outside and watching the boats and people. We had all types of weather (cloudy and crystal clear) and it was all perfect for different reasons. The kitchen was well stocked. We didnt cook but we baked. I would have loved a kettle but a pan worked just fine. The beds were comfortable and there were enough linens and pillows. Extra too! I appreciated the knit throw blankets as well. I appreciated the washer/dryer and supplies. We washed our towels halfway thru our stay. There were a lot of rules, repeated many times in many different ways, so it made me nervous for the first few days of my stay. I swept and spot clean the floors just to make sure. The unit was a little spendy but it may have been due to the Easter holiday. Communication was good before/during/after our stay. We left something there and they shipped it to us.

We had a beautiful 5 days at Ann’s place. We are hosts ourselves and still everything exceeded our expectations. We partied on the beach with friends but absolutely loved the 9pm quiet time. So nice not to have loud parties and beach activity disturbing our zen. We could enjoy the sunsets in peace and tranquility. We are already planning our next years trip. 5+++ stars for Anna and her family, we felt right at home!

Chris and Michelle were very responsive hosts. We loved the location and were thrilled with the little toys, books, and beach items provided for our use.

What a LOVELY place to stay, just 6-7 houses away from the sand. Perfect location. Very useful shopping center across the street (Pavillions grocery store, banks, restaurants, etc). The house is very spacious, stocked with everything you'd need. Will definitely be back soon!

I was really grateful Lee was able to accommodate us on such short notice. Her communication was great. The home was better than the photos and stocked with things to make our stay easier. I wouldn’t normally book a place without A/C but it was cool and breezy and actually needed the heater at night. The pool was too chilly for us this time of year but the lights out back were so pretty we spent a lot of time in the back yard. We accidentally locked ourselves out (make sure to read your instructions and don’t lock the bottom lock on the door handle) but Lee helped us get back in pretty quickly. We only had a small bit of time to visit the beach but it’s so close and there are great bikes and some ocean toys. I would stay here again on our next visit to Huntington Beach.

We had a fantastic stay at Zev & Melissa Forrest’s place in Long Beach. The house was perfect for our group of three couples—spacious, comfortable, and well-equipped. The location was ideal, within walking distance to the beach and the Long Beach Grand Prix, which was a highlight of our trip. The kitchen was beautiful, and the living space was perfect for relaxing after a day out. Thank you so much for hosting us!

Had a wonderful stay at DJ and Brandee’s home last weekend while my mom and I were in town for the Surf City Half Marathon! The house is gorgeous and comfortable with fantastic amenities - everything was as described. It’s a short walk to downtown and was perfect location for us to get to the starting line. The pool and their big comfy couch were perfect for our post-race recovery. The kitchen is awesome; I loved cooking in it. DJ and Brandee were fantastic hosts — always responsive and kind. Really appreciated their hospitality and highly recommend staying here if you get the chance. Thank you!!!

We stayed here for our spring break with my 6 kids. Ages 23-5. We are not partiers just a family get away to relax and cook together. We booked this place based on the pool and it was worth it for us. The previous reviews were alarming about quiet hrs and it being strict but we had no problem and stayed in the pool till 945 at night. I did tell me younger 3 kids to be quiet at night to be respectful and they were for the most part but definitely got loud with their voice a few times. Great house no complaints beds were very comfy!

Jack’s place was just minutes from the beach—cozy, clean, and exactly what we needed. We had a wonderful time staying in Long Beach!

The place and scenery was absolutely STUNNING! Waking up with the sunrise right there made it all worth it! At one point the golf cart key broke and the host had a new one delivered to us with 15 minutes. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to stay a few nights on Catalina.

We had a delightful stay at Sue’s place. Right in the heart of town, with easy access to beaches, Main Street, and all the highlights of Seal Beach. Bedrooms were as-described and comfortable. The great room on the second floor is large, light and bright, with a nice “living room” sitting area with two facing couches adjacent to a “dining room” with a full-sized dining table. The kitchen is beautiful, large and very well-equipped — we hosted guests on several occasions and loved the setup for cooking and serving. Yes, the beach is a 3 minute walk, but having your own pool and small yard for sunbathing is the best of both worlds. Highly recommended.

Traveled for business. We were comfortable and able to have zoom meetings and felt like home away from home. A lovely property!

Excellent stay, probably the cleanest Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Only a 6 minute walk from the ferry. Everything in Avalon is walking distance. Definitely recommend. I can’t tell you how amazing it was to get checked in early. With three kids and luggage I was so appreciative. My only suggestion would be an extra fitted sheet for the pull out bed downstairs. It wasn’t anything major and I’m sure if I had asked for one they would have brought one. Super responsive. Other than that, we had what we needed in the house. Thank you!!

We enjoyed our stay with such gorgeous views from balcony. The golf cart was perfect for getting around the island. House was comfortable and had everything we needed.

My family lived on the island for more than 25 years so I am very familiar with the town. This home is perfectly situated at the end of a main street away from the congestion of the main strip but within an easy 5 minute walk to said main strip, three minutes to the grocery store etc. The home is well maintained in general with plenty of space. There were eight of us and we were very comfortable. The house was very tidy and clean with the exception of one shower that had a clump of hair on the side wall. Everything else in the bathrooms was very clean so I am assuming this was an oversight. I was very pleased in general with this home and will definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and check in was easy. I emailed them before I got onto the boat and by the time I got off the boat the instructions for getting into the home were in my inbox. If you have a large family I definitely recommend this home.

Great little cottage in Avalon for 1-2 people. Property/home owned by the same family for 100+ years and obviously well loved. Enjoyed seeing the pictures and history of the family and the house, as well as several painting of Avalon in the front room. House is well maintained and recently updated. Very comfortable and loved the front porch!

351D is a very nice cottage. Has heating and AC. Well done kitchen and bathtub in entry bathroom. Could use larger TV's love the decor and the stained glass. could use a laundry area. nice walkable location. don't need a golf cart. love the hand held shower heads. the master bed is fairy comfortable and warm blankets. thanks much. one of the nicest units on a quiet street.
